Membership

With changing times, dietetic professionals are being progressively recognized and acknowledged by the government sector, the food industry, health professionals and the public for their effective role in leading the way to better nutrition. PNDS recognizes the contribution of colleagues with dietetic and non-dietetic qualifications and welcomes their participation as its members.

Through membership of PNDS, individual members and the profession will gain strength in an increasingly competitive environment. PNDS is also establishing a voluntary register of members who are eligible to work as Human Nutrition Professionals according to standards of qualification and training determined by PANAP (Program for Accrediting Nutritional Activities in Pakistan). For registration as HNP eligible members are required to pass a Registration Exam and sign the PNDS Code of ethics to which they are required to adhere as long as they remain a PNDS registered dietitians.
