Started career in 1987 as a clinical nutritionist with Aga Khan University Hospital.
Was promoted as Chief Senior Clinical Dietician in 1990 supervising the nutrition department.
Then did private outpatient clinics as a Consultant Nutritionist for a while.
In 2004 shifted towards community nutrition research as Nutrition Coordinator – Health Educator with the Control of Blood Pressure and Risk Attenuation (COBRA) trial.
Presently working as Senior Research Officer- Nutrition with the Human Development Programme of Aga Khan University.
Involved in community based nutrition research. Developing and implementing nutrition related interventions.
